Lawrence F. 'Rip Graham PORT ORANGE. FU. Uwrt nee F. "Rip" Graham. 69. of 5200 S. Nova Rd.. a former paid City of Poughkeepsie firefighter, died Saturday at Humana Hospital. Daytona Beach, Fla. Mr. Graham began working a a firefighter for Poughkeepsie irt 194S. He was employed for 32 years before he retired In IJT7. He was born in Poughkeepsie Oct. S. ISIS, the son of Lawrence and Martha Burr Graham. Mr. Graham was married to the former Margaret Davison, who survives. He moved from Poughkeepsie to El Cetitro, California, after his retirement and to Florida in 1981. Mr. Graham was a member of VFW Post 13212 in Port Orange, the Ancient Scottish Rite of Albany. Cyrus Temple of Albany, the Masonic Lodge '266 of Poughkeepsie. and the Free a'nd Accepted Masons of Albany. He served in the Army's 66 Signal Battalion during World War II and was awarded the Medal for Ousland - ing Heroism. Bronze Star. Conspicuous Service Cross and Purple Heart. In additiorl to his wife. Margaret. Mr. Grahaml is survived by a son. Donald Graham of New York, a daughter. Sandra Graham of New York City, three sisters. Evelyn Tanoof Poughkeepsie. Martha Osika of Hyde park, and Dorothy Waldron of Bonita Springs. Fl.. and four grandchildren. Calling hours are today from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dale - Ma - loney Funeral Home, 543 S. Halifax Dr.. Port Orange. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p m at the funeral home Burial uill be in Woodland Cemetery in Port Orange. Donations may be made to the Shnners Crippled Children's Hospital. Springfield. Mass
