SIX-C POUGHKEEPSIE JOURNAL SUNDAY, MARCH 6, 1966 12 Models Named For County Hat Show Miss Pitcher, Lived in Tivoli Miss Harriet Pitcher, 80, formerly of Tivoli, died Wednesday in Poughkeepsie after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late William and Laura A. Pitcher. She formerly was a communicant of St. Paul's Church, Tivoli.

She is survived by a brother, Edmund Pitcher Los Angeles, and three nephews. A sister, Miss Alice Pitcher, died Jan. 7. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at the Burnett and Rockefeller Funrela Home, 42 W.

Market Red Hook, with the Rev. Richard H. rector of St. Paul's Church, officating. Interment will be' in Red Church Cemetery, Tivoli.

Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. Mr. Ferguson, 50, of City Walter F. Ferguson, 50, of 156 Mill died unexpectedly yesterday while in a store in downtown Poughkeepsie. Mr.

Ferguson, an employe of the Poughkeepsie Plumbing Supply had resided in the city for a number of years. He was the son of the late George and Ada Ferguson, and was born in Brooklyn on Dec. 6, 1915. In addition to his wife, the former Miss Veronica O'Brien, Mr. Ferguson is survived by three daughters, Miss Katherine Ferguson, of New Jersey; Mrs.

Bruce Ronk, New Paltz; and Miss Virginia Ferguson, city; two sons, Michael and Gerard Ferguson, both city; and two grandchildren, JoAnne and Joel Ronk, New Paltz. Funeral services will be from the Funeral' Home, .211 Mansion Tuesday at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Requiem at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Church.

Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight and tomorrow afternoon and night. John Capano, City Machinist John Anthony Capano, 57, of 32 S. Perry died yesterday at St.

Francis' Hospital after a long illness. He was a machinist at the Schatz Manufacturing Federal Bearings Companies -plant for many years and was a member of the Old Timers Club. Mr. Capano was born in Italy on June 20, 1908, son of the late Giovanni and Julia Biscardi Capano, and came to this country. when he was eight.

He was married to the former Mary Fells. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. George (Marian) Schroeder and Miss Mary Helen Capano; two brothers, Frank and Vincent; and five sisters, Mrs. Liborio (Helen) Ranalli, Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Harding, Mrs.

Antony Antoinette Orlando (Angelina) Mancini and Mrs. Rose Lovelace; two aunts, Mrs. Angelina LaFalce and Mrs. Rosaria LaFalce; and several nieces, nephews and cousins, all of the Poughkeepsie area. One of the cousins is Sister Mary Rose of St.

Agnes' Hospital, Yonkers. The funeral will be from the Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, 218 Mill at 9 a.m. on Tuesday and 'at a.m. at Mt. Carmel Church, where a High Mass of Requiem will be offered.

Smith, 70, of City Mrs. Ethel Smith, 70, of 44 Carroll died Friday at the Delameter Funeral Home. She was born in Brooklyn on Jan. 9, 1896, daughter of the late Charles E. and Agusta Sofia Hartelius.

She is. survived by two brothers, Clifford Hartelius, Kerhonkson and George Hartelius, Poughkeepsie, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, 2 p.m., at the Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson, by the Jesse Peace, pastor of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, city.
