Alexander who was killed in an automobile accident in South Road Jan. 8, 1965. The youth was born in Poughkeepsie on Feb. 1, 1953, in tion to his mother and several aunts and uncles, he is survived by a brother, Herbert W.

III; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Alexander of Fishkill Plains, and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Georgianna Lillberg of New Paltz. Calling hours at the funeral home will be today and Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. The Rev.

Keating, 57, Sunset Knolls, who was employed as driver for the Poughkeepsie Transit died Friday at Vassar Hospital. He was born Feb. 21, 1912 in New York City, the son of the late John and Alice Smith Keating. He lived in this area most of his life. Mr.

Keating is survived by his wife, the former Diane Karlebach; two daughters, Suzanne and JoAnn; and a son, Lawrence, all at home. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the William G. Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 59 Montgomery St. Burial will be in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.

Ricevuto, Woodland Road, died Friday at Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie after a long illness. She was a teacher in the Wappinger Central School District. A lifelong resident of Beacon, Mrs. Ricevuto was the daughter of the late Vincent and Theresa Ferrone Bettina. She was married to Sebastian A.

Ricevuto, who survives. He is also la school teacher. A graduate of Beacon High School and the State University College at New Paltz, Mrs. Ricevuto was on the faculty of the Fishkill Plains Elementary School- She was a member of the National Education Association and the New York State Teachers Association. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Anthony, and four brothers, Melio Bettina, Beacon, and Frank, Joseph and Rocco Bettina, all of Chelsea.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be from the Halvey Funeral Home, 24 Willow Beacon, at 9:15 a.m. Monday. A High Mass of Requiem will be offered at 10 a.m. at St.

John's Catholic Church, where Mrs. Ricevuto was a communicant. Burial will be in St. Joachim's Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.

Frank (Carolina) Manzi, 12 Sparrow Lane, Town of Poughkeepsie, died Friday in Fairview Hospital, Great Barrington, Mass- She was 87. Mrs. Manzi was born in Italy, the late Mrs. Dominic Sept. 10, 1881, the, daughter of Santiello.

Her husband died in 1961. Mrs. Manzi was a communicant of Mt. Carmel Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs.

Sundae Miguel, Danbury, three sons, Andrew, Peekskill, and Anthony and Joseph Manzi, Poughkeepsie; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 9 a.m. at the William G. Miller and Sons Funeral Home, 310 Mill and at 9:30 a.m. at Mt: Carmel where a High Mass of Requiem will be celebrated.

Lillian Lowndes NORTH TARRYTOWN Mrs. Lillian E. Lowndes, 218 Garden North Tarrytown, a former long-time resident of Dover Plains, died Friday at Phelps Memorial Hospital here. She would have been 85 next month. Born in New York City on Aug, 6, 1884, she was the widow of the late Percy Lowndes, who died in 1966.

In addition to six grandchildren, she. is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy L. Frost of Chappaqua, and a son, George Lowndes of Yorktown Heights. -The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m., from the Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights.

Mrs. Esther Griswold, widow of the former Town of Wappinger highway superintendent, Harry Griswold, died Friday at her home after a long illness. She was in her 90s. Formerly of Kent Road in the town, she is survived by a daughter, Persis Post of Jericho, and son, Richard, of Houston, Tex. The funeral will be Monday in Essex Junction, Vt.

Drug Suspect Is Located A man who police say jumped bail after being arrested in a drug raid almost three years ago was located on a farm in Gettysburg, Friday SherDetective Chief Charles Borchers reported. when William McCord The prolonged, search ended arrested Keith Kisling, 28, formerly of Bement Avenue, Poughkeepsie.

The defendant refused to waive his right to extradition proceedings, Borchers said, and being held in lieu of $5,000 bail at the Adams County Jail, Gettysburg. His next appearance is Aug. 25. Kisling was traced to Endicott and from there to Pennsylvania, where he was living under an assumed name, according to police. Kisling, arrested in October 1966 on charges of first-degree possession of drugs, including and violation of public health law provisions regarding drugs, was re-arraigned in Adams County Superior Court on those charges and on an additional count of bail jumping.

McCord was aided in the investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police. Youth Hurt In 'Cycle Crash KINGSTON -An 18-year-old city youth who suffered serious head injuries in a motorcycle crash early today transferred this morning from the Kingston City Hospital to Albany Medical Center. Ulster. Central Hudson Sets Dividends The board of directors of the Central Hudson Gas and Electrie Corp. declared dividends at its monthly meeting Friday in its South Road offices. Y. (AP) -A spectacular fire on a gasoline tanker halted traffic on the State Thruway for more than two hours this morning near here.

Police said the tanker, part of a National Guard convoy from New Jersey, was struck by a tractor-trailer that was passing the convoy. The driver, a National Guard soldier, drove the tanker off the highway when it caught fire. No one was hurt. The tanker did not explode but spouted flames "like Mt. said State Police.

The most seriously hurt of the seven, Miss Ann Marie Koval, 24, Poughkeepsie, was listed in fair condition this mornling, undergoing treatment for multiple cuts on her face. She was in a car by George Crawley, 43, of 9 Morgan Poughkeepsie, when the accident happened at about 10:15 p.m. near Route 299, police said. The other driver was identified as Joseph Shields, 21, High Falls.

State Police said Shields was charged with driving an unreglistered car and Crawley on a charge of having an unsafe tire. James McFarland, 14, Esopus, a passenger in Shields' car, and Crawley were in satisfactory, condition today at the hospital. Released after treatment were four others in Shields' car: Gibbs Peterson, 13; Peter Horran, 21; James Sexton, 16, and Kenneth Schachet, 12, all from the McLaren School, Esopus, where McFarland also is a student. Youth Accused Of Theft Charge A sharp-eyed patrolman was in the right place at the right time long enough to identify a fleeing suspected pickpocket. The accused youth, Cornell Lee.

Johnson, escaped but was located later and charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony. A about 1 a.m. Thursday, Robert A. Hitt, 14F Charles Street Court, was walking along New Market Street near Main Street when a youth bumped into him from behind and removed the wallet from his back pocket, city police said. The thief fled up Main Street just as Patrolman Edward J.

Ashworth was passing in his patrolcar. By the time Ashworth turned the car around to chase him, the suspect was gone, but his quick glimpse of the running youth was enough, police said. After interviewing Hitt, Patrolman Ashworth located a picture of Johnson and used it in his investigation. A warrant was sworn out for the 20-year-old youth and his arrest was made at about midnight by Patrolmen Richard Brady and Charles B. Bogdanowicz.

Johnson, 130 Mansion pleaded innocent at his arriagnment Friday in City Court and was ordered held in lieu of $1,000 bail to await another appearlance in a week. Judge Joseph H.
