Genevieve Michael A. Bogdanowicz POUGHKEEPSIE Genevieve 91, a resident of the Lutheran Care Center in the Town of Poughkeepsie, died on June 15, 2005 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center after a short i illness. A two year local resident, she had previously resided in Queens, NY. She was a Nanny for over 20 years to her second family, The Hardick Family of Locus Valley, NY. She loved to play cards and play games She with her great will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family were the light of her life. Born in Brooklyn on August 24, 1913, she was the daughter of Stanley and Stella Frajkowski Klimkowski. On Jan. 10, 1932 in Brooklyn, she married Karl J. Bogdanowicz, he predeceased her in 1969.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Gary Fischer of Bayside, NY, a daughter and soninlaw, Rita and Joseph Rogers of Poughkeepsie; grandchildren, Michael Bogdanowicz and Eileen; Andrew Bogdanowicz; Steven Bogdanowicz and his wife, Robin; Maher and her husband, Bill; Richard Bogdanowicz and his wife, Lisa; Karen Donatelli, her husJim; Carol Verdis and her husband, Ernie; Cheryl Joseph Rogers, Jr; Eleanor Fischer; Matthew Rogers and his wife, Sabrina; and William Fischer. Two daughters-in-law, Dorothy and Maureen Bogdanowicz; 14 greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews and their families also survive her. She was predeceased by two sons, Richard J. Bogdanowicz in 1983 and Charles A. Bogdanowicz in 1995 and two brothers, Charles and Edward Klimkowski.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2005 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Poughkeepsie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 20, 2005 at 10 a.m. at St.

Mary Frances DuPilka Sumski She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on June 20, 1913, and was preceded in death by her husband, John, as she was affectionately called by her family and friends, was a loving, caring, beautiful and gentle woman who always greeted you with her sweet smile, cheerful voice and twinkling blue eyes.

Nana especially loved to tell stories of her marathon dance competitions. -the longest being ten days straight, and she had all her trophies to prove it. Nana was cherished and loved by her family, her three daughters, Mary Ann Kudelka of Cary, NC; Kari Kegl and June Wilson, both of Wilmington, NC; her devoted and loving sonsinlaw, Andy Kegl and Jim Wilson; four beautiful grandchildren, Kyle and wife Holly, Dana' Kegl George and husband, Bill, Chris Wilson and wife, Katie, Stacey Wilk and husband, Wes; her precious great-grandchildren, Michael and Jordan Kegl, Elenna George, and Teagan and Archer Wilk. Missing her most of all will be her devoted Chi-Chi, her chihuahua who never left her side. Nana attended St.

Kryst resident, Patsy RED HOOK Patricia M. (Patsy) Kryst, 73, a resident of the Horkins Family Care Home in Red Hook, died Thursday, June 16, 2005 at home. A 16-year local resident, Patsy previously resided in Patchogue, NY. She regularly attended the Rhinebeck Continuing Treatment Center. Her hobbies included embroidery, painting and reading.

Born on Jan. 16, 1932, in Terryville, CT, she was the daughter of William K. and Marion (Strotsky) Wajda. Survivors include a brother, Walter Wajda and his wife, Marylou of Hyde Park; two nephews, Michael and William Wajda, both of Staatsburg; three nieces, Wendy MacHugh and Susan Marcotte, both of Tivoli; Patricia Wajda-Gunsch of Wappingers Falls and several great-nieces and nephews and the friends she resided with at Horkins Family Care Home. In addition to her mother and step father, she was predeceased by a sister, Gloria Swiader.

Charles Davis POUGHKEEPSIE Charles Davis, 64, of Poughkeepsie, passed away June 16, 2005 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. Mr.

Davis was born in North Carolina on Dec. 26, 1940, the son of the late Wesley and Annie McKinley Davis. He was a chef at Castle Point Veterans Hospital and a longtime area resident. Mr. Davis served in the US Army from 1963 to 1965.

He is survived by his wife, Denise Futrell-Davis of Troy, NY, four children, Daeshon Futrell of Troy, a NY; Charles Davis, Darren Davis and Deaona Davis, all of Poughkeepsie; and six grandchildren. Smalley was formerly a selfemployed Consulting Engineer in Poughkeepsie for 32 years. Prior to that he worked for New York Central Railroad, Arma Corp. in Research and Development on fire control systems and IBM in Poughkeepsie. He received his in Electrical Engineering from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute in 1949. Mr.

Smalley served in the US Navy during World War II, in the Atlantic, then three years in the Army Reserve during Korean Raised in Forest Hill(Queens), NY, he came to this area in 1956. He was a member of St. Martin de Porres, as well as Knights of Columbus St. Martin de Porres, Man to Man Support Group, the secretary of Poughkeepsie South Rotary Club, an Eagle Scout and was the Chairman of the Advancement of Dutchess County Boy Scouts Association. He was also an adjunct instructor at Dutchess Community College, a member of the IBM Education Board of Directors of the Poughkeepsie Amateur Radio League, Garrison and Barrett House Art Associations, and the NYS Society of Professional Engineers.

Born May 10, 1925 in Elmhurst, NY, he was the son of Jeremiah and Anna Urban Smalley. In 1951, in Bronx, NY he married Joan. Masterson, who predeceased him in 1957. On Nov. 26, 1960 at the former Nativity Church, Poughkeepsie, he married Janet Noll, who survives at home.

Other survivors include a a a a a a a a a a son and daughter-in-law, Robert F. and Marisa Smalley, Germantown, TN; a daughter, Teri Smalley, Wilmington, DE; a daughter and son-in-law, Catherine A. and Kevin King, Delmar, NY, a daughter and son-in-law, Geraldine M. and Bruce Link, Hobart, NY, a daughter, Jennifer M. Smalley, Newburgh, NY, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Dingae, a loving mother and grandmother, who was adored by her family and many friends, died peacefully Friday, June 17, 2005 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 90. Betty's energetic spirit and great sense of humor will be sorely missed by all who knew her. A lifelong resident of Poughkeepsie, she was educated in the Poughkeepsie School District.

Betty worked for over forty years and into her 80's, for Wallace's Shoe French Boot, retiring from Friedman's Shoes in Poughkeepsie. Betty's first love was her family. She also enjoyed music, bingo and the slot machines. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Poughkeepsie. Born July 27, 1914 in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Charles Bloomer and Rhoda Belle Bennett.

On Jan. 26, 1934, in Beacon, NY, she married Ivor Francis "Fran" Dingae, who predeceased her on July 1997. She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Janet and John Broderick, Hyde Park; a son and his wife, Ivor Francis Jr. and Teddi Dingae, Loveland, CO; five grandsons; ten great grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Stanley.

Petroccitto, 52, of Town of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, June 18, 2005 at his home. He died after a courageous battle with cancer. Mike loved life and had a passion for hunting and fishing. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School.

Previously 16-year resident of Youngsville, NC he had been employed at Mini-City Auto Repair Raleigh, NC and had been involved in the auto repair business for 36 years. Born on July 18, 1952, he was the son of Marianna Hover McKenna and the late Thomas McKenna and Frank Petroccitto and step-son of Mary Petroccitto. He was formerly employed as a Nurse Administrator at the Hudson River Psychiatric Center until 1975 and a Child Care at the St. Cabrini Home He was a lifetime resident of Dutchess County and in 1964, served as Clerk for the Dutchess County Board of Supervisors. Mr. Marx was a World War II veteran, serving in the Army's 7th and 9th Artillery and commanded 156 Field Artillery Battalion, Poughkeepsie and Kingston, with 25 years service in the National Guard, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He was the first recipient of St.

Cabrini's Home Gold Medal Human Services Award in 1988 Mr. Marx was a past president of the Civil services Employees Association, Hudson River Psychiatric Center; past president of 25-Year Club, Hudson River Psychiatric Center; a member of the St. cabrini School Board; a lifetime member of HRPC Nurses Alumni Association; and lifetime member of MOAA. I He received his education at Viola Elementary School, Arlington High and Hudson River Psychiatric School of Nursing. Born in Bronx, NY on Jan.

21, 1913, he was the son of Emil Marx and Sophia Pfunder. On May 3, 1941, at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in New York City, he married Ann Virginia Bennett. His wife predeceased him on Nov. 4, 1994.

He is survived by three daughters, Virginia Page Marx of Rhinebeck; Leslee Marie Benson and her husband, Michael of Collinsville, IL; Roberta Ann Carver and her husband, Douglas of Schoharie, NY; devoted friend, Mildred B. Hoff of Poughkeepsie; a grandson, Christopher J. Benson, St. Louis, MO and a granddaughter, Alexandra P. Carver of Schoharie, NY.
