Bailey Commemoratic Stamp To Mark Late Horticulturist's Birthday A commemorative US postage stamp wilt be released In Ithaca in March to mirk the 100th birthday anniversary of Liberty Hyde Bailey. Cornell university's world (amoui hortl rulturist who died in 1934 The atamp will be dlsplaved for the first time at a banquet In Statler hall Ithaca on March 14, it will to on aale at the Ithaca post office the next day, and It will be available In 37 000 other post offices around the country on March 17 Plana for the commemorative atamp were first proposed by the Bailey Hortorlum at Cornell to the American Horticultural Council, and the petition for the Issue was sponsored by some 14 agricultural horticultural nd botanical organizations with more than three million members around the country Spon Dorothy Diz Letter Box son.
