NOVEMBER' 29, 1953 POUGHKEEPSIE SUNDAY NEW YORKER PAGE SEVEN Greer to Present Christmas Program "Where Love Is There God Is Also," a traditional Christinas play, will be the next dramatic staged by the Greer School Drama as part of a series of six productions currently being presented at the school. The Christmas program is scheduled for Dec. 17 in the school auditorium. "On Nov. 21, the guild opened its 1953-1954 season with three act plays, produced jointly by the students and faculty members.

THE FIRST PLAY was a oneact comedy by George S. Kaufman, Men Played Cards as Women Do." Members of the cast included Ronald Miller, James Morrow, Roy Gostel and Robert Rolston. Following this presentation, the Greer school girls countered with "If Women Worked Men Do," Ellen Goodfellow, Members of this cast were Marilynne Scott, Sandra Scala, Veralee Jones and Penelope Harned. To conclude the Nov. 21 performance, the Greer staff presented Bishop's including in the cast Warren 01- sen, Carmine Di Arpine, Gloria Bruno, Barbara Burruss, James Hamilton and Richard Ausch.

The three presentations were directed by Carmine Di Arpine, dramatic coach. The next presentations on the series will be the staging of two operas, and the the dates for the productions still not scheduled. Berlin Drive Opened For Needy Children BERLIN (AP) Berlin's American military and civilian community opened its annual campaign yesterday to provide Christmas joy to 6,500 of city's needy children through "operation cheer." Voluntary contributions from servicemen and civilian workers of U.

2 Persons Killed In Car-pumper Crash SYRACUSE- -Two per sons were killed and five others, including four firemen, were injured early yesterday when a Syracuse Fire department pumper, enroute to minor blaze, was involved in a collision -with car at a north side intersection.
