Mr. Roberts had lived In both Poughkeepsle and Beacon. In IIJ4. bile employed In the Beacon School District, he was a candidate for superintendent of schools Mr. Roberts was a member of the Beacon Elks Club, the East Hook Rod and Gun Club, and a former member of the Christ Methodiit Church In Beacon.
