A local resident since 1972, he was prevMuslfof Washington, D.C., and was formerly assigned to protect President Franklin D. Roosevelt in Hyde. Park and President Harry S. Truman in Washington D.C Mr. Duff icy served in the U.S.

Navy during World War II and received Jthe Gallatin Award for outstanding government service iq 1972. He was born Oct 29, 1901, in New York City, to Joseph and Mary Bren nen Duificy. His wife, Mary Caruso Dufflcy, died in 1976. Dufficy In 1922, he married his first wife, Edith Pollock, who died In 1932. Survivors Include a son, James W.

Dufflcy of Pleasant Valley; two daughters, Evelyn Achllll of Hyde Park and Gladys Barrett of Rhine cliffy two, sisters, Josephine Fitten and Margaret Main, both of New Jersey, four grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 2 4 and 7 9 p.m. Sunday at the Parmele Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Pough keepsie. Prayers will be said at 8 during the calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m.

Monday at St Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church in Pleasant Valley. Burial will follow In St Peter's Cemetery in Poughkeepsle. Genowefa K. Zajkowski Genowefa K. Zajkowski, 73, a Town of Poughkeepsle resident since 1948 and an employee in central supply at Vassar Brothers Hospital until her retirement in 1980, died Thursday at her home after a long illness.

Previously of Poland, she was a communicant of St Martin de Porres and St Joseph's Roman Catholic churches In Poughkeepsle. She was born Dec. 8, 1915, in Dlu golenka, Poland, to Konstanty and Paulina Kalinowska Kulikowski. On Feb. 5, 1940, in Poland, she married William Zajkowski who died in 1986.

Survivors include two sons, Wil liam J. Zajkowski of Poughkeepsle and Stephen P. Zajkowski of Virginia; a daughter, Wanda DeNagy of Poughkeepsie; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A daughter, Jadzia Zajkowski, died in 1941. Calling hours are from 2 4 and 7 9 p.m.

Ben Menendez Jr. FISHKILL Ben Menendez 44, a maintenance specialist at IBM in East Fishkill for seven years, died Wednesday at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie. A nine year area resident he was previously from Monticello and was member of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Fishkill. He was born Sept. 14, 1944, in gonce, Puerto Rico, to Ben Sr.

and nna Figueroa Menendez. His father survives in Puerto Rico. On March 25, 1965, in Yonkers, he married Virginia Privitera Menen dez who survives at home. Other survivors include two sons, Vincent Menendez and Frank. Menendez, both of Fishkill, and a daughter, Rosanne Menendez of Fishkill.

Calling hours are from 2 4 and 7 9 today at the Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Homes 126 Main St, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am. Saturday at St. Mary's Church, Jackson Street Fishkill.

Anna M. Denning Anna M. Denning, 66, an employee of the former Peck and Peck Company in Poughkeepsie until her re tirement in 1980 and a lifelong Town of Poughkeepsie resident, died Thursday at her home. She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Poughkeepsie. She was born Oct 20, 1922, in Poughkeepsie, to Charles and Anna Mullen Miller, OnSept.

27, 1980, in Pleasant Valley, she married J. Harold Denning who survives at home. Other survivors include a daughter, Paula Smith Digilio of Kingston; two stepdaughters, Diane Skinner of Syracuse and Paula Philipbar of Pleasant Valley, two brothers, Charles J. Miller and James J. Miller, both of Poughkeepsie; a sister, Margaret Skinner of Poughkeepsie; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
