Mr. O'Hehlr had been 'receiving treatment for a heart ailment the last year and had spent four months last win ter in 'lorlda, returning to his home in March.and resumed his activities at.

He had been about his home yesterday and suffered the fatal seizure while working In the. workshop of his garage, last night. He died before' medical aid could reacryhftn. 4 Having served as "purchasing agent for IBM from February, 1951, Mr. O'Hehir was appointed in June lrS9, as staff assistant to, the materials manager, continuing in that post until his death.

FIRST EMPLOYED In a clerical 'capacity in the purchasing department, Mr. O'Hehir was promoted to buyer in July. 1943. and in March 1947, was named administrative assistant. From September, 1950 he served as acting purchasing agent, being named purchasing agent In February, 1951.

Mr. O'Hehlr had taken courses In the IBM school in measurement instruments, blueprint reading; elementary metallurgy, principles of the electric typewriter and effective speaking. He bad been a member of the IBM Ceuntry elub and Study club, the American Tool Engineers and the Ameri can Society of Quality. Control. ALSO.

HE HAD been Vrnem ber of the Poughkeepsle Rotary club, Florentine council, Knights of Columbus; the First Friday club, the Amrtta club. the Dutchess Golf and Country club, the Purchasing Agents As soclatlon of New York, the Na tional Association of Purchasing Agents and was formerly a member of the local Chamber of Commerce. Born in Warwick, Dec. 28, 1898, Mr. O'Hehlr was educated in schools there and prior to coming to this city, was asso ciated with the Lehigh and Hud, son River Railroad in Warwick i or some years, tie was uie son of the late Patrick and Mary Jane Conlyn O'Hehlr, Surviving.
