CApital 9-2624 Otis S. Burchell, Patrolman's Brother Otis S. Burchell, 50, a native of this city who resided at 16 Glen drive, Swenson development, Town of Poughkeepsie," died last night in Vassar hospital. He had been ill the last six years. Mr.

Burchell was a brother of Patrolman Arthur Burchell of the City Police department. Prior to his illness, Mr. Burchell was. associated with the Daystrom Electric Corp. Earlier, he was employed for some time as a foreman for the former Lockwood, Dutchess Bleachery: He was a member of St.

C. LeRoy Ossont, Grange Official, 77 UTICA- (AP) -C. LeRoy Ossont, deputy master of the New York State Grange, died yesterday in St. Luke's hospital after a short illness. Ossont, a retired schoolteacher, was.

77. Overnight Deaths (By The Associated Press) LOUISVILLE, KY Tom Wallace, 86, editor emeritus of the Louisville Times, and widely known for his work in conservation. Wallace, dean of Kentucky, president of newspapermen, the American was Society of Newspaper Editors and former president of the Inter-American Press association. ATLANTA- -Hammond Burke Nicholson, 65, former president and chairman of the board of the Coca-Cola Co. Nicholson, who joined the company in 1933 at Boston, served as president from 1952 to 1955 when he became chairman of the board and of the executive committee.

State Fatalities AMSTERDAM (AP)- Mrs. Enola Lee, 87, who was burned April 21 while tending a grass fire near her home in Morris O'Hehir Dies; IBM Associate Was 62 J. Morris O'Hehir, 62, who had been associated with the purchasing department of IBM from January, 1942, died unexpectedly last night at his home, 170 Wilbur boulevard, of heart seizure. Mr. O'Hehir had been receiving treatment for a heart ailment the last year and had spent four months last winter in Florida, returning to his home in March, resumed his activities' at IBM.

He had been about his home yesterday and suffered the fatal seizure while working in the workshop of his garage, last night. He died before medical aid could reach him. Having served as purchasing agent for IBM from February, 1951, Mr. O'Hehir was appointed in June 1.59, as staff assistant to. the materials manager, continuing in that post until his death.

FIRST EMPLOYED in clerical capacity in the purchasing department, Mr. O'Hehir was promoted to buyer in July, 1943, and in March 1947, was named administrative assistant. From September, 1950 he served as acting purchasing being named purchasing agent in February, 1951. Mr. O'Hehir had taken courses in the IBM school in measurement instruments, blueprint reading; elementary metallurgy, principles of the electrie typewriter and effective speaking.

He had been a member of the IBM- -Country elub and Study club, the American Tool Engineers and the American Society of Quality Control. grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Charles H. O'Brien, here, wife of the former Dutchess ways; Miss Ethel O'Hehir, County Superintendent of High: Brooklyn; and Miss Merah O'Hehir, Warwick. Funeral services will be conducted at the Mulvey, Funeral home, 211 Mansion street, at 9 o'clock Thursday and at Holy Trinity church at 9:30 o'clock when Mass of Requiem will be offered.

Burial will be in St. Stephen's cemetery, Warwick. Friends may call at the funeralhome between 7 and 9 o'clock tonight and tomorrow night. He was the son of the late Patrick and Mary Jane Conlyn O'Hehir. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Mrs. Rosena Miller O'Hehir, whom he married in Warwick in 1940, are a son, Joseph O'Hehir, Southport, four Dean G.

New Mains Held Ruppert Park Need City Manager Pearce conceded at last night's Common Council meeting that the city should include a replacement of water mains in Ruppert park section of the Eighth ward. The four-inch mains there should be replaced by eight-inch mains, he said.

committee, informing her he will seek nomination. Mr. Betros, married and the father of two children, is an attorney with law offices at 234 Main street. He has been a life resident of the Seventh ward and for three and one-half years served as assistant State Attorney General under Louis Lefkowitz. A graduate of local schools, Mr.

Suspends Recine Manor's Liquor License Joseph L. Sauter, executive officers of the County Alcoholic Beverage Control board, said today that the State Liquor authority has suspended for 10 days the alcoholic beverage hotel license issued to Recine Manor Route 52. Fishkill. Mr. Sauter said the SLA contends that the Recine Manor Casino bar was longer than the' specifications set by the SLA-30 feet retail sale and eight feet for a service area.

Actually, said Mr. Sauter, the bar in question was destroyed a fire at Recine Manor casino some weeks ago but because the suspension applies against the entire establishment no liquor may be sold from the Recine Manor house which still is operating. Food -may. be-seld, but no. coholic beverages, said Mr.

Sauter. The suspension began on Monday and runs to June 15. Mohawk Reports Another Net Gain UTICA -(AP)- Mohawk Airlines reported today a net profit of $75,000 for May, the fourth month in a row the carrier. showed a profit. The airline said carried record 60,473 passengers in May, approximately 1,000 more than previous high for a month June.
