JOURNAL SUNDAY, MAY 15, 2005 VOWS Weddings, engagements and anniversaries Victoria Campbell and Alan Kemp, both of Pine Plains, were married Oct. 23 at Stissing Lake. The bride is the daughter of Harold and Barbara Campbell, Pine Plains. The groom is the son of Keven Kemp, Pine Plains, and Cheryl Honour, Canaan, and the step-son of Audrey Kemp. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was attended by Laurena Malarchuk.

Bridesmaids were Tara Selber, and the bride's cousins, Maggie Flood, Jenesis Carmel and Elisa Mundis. Tom Gray was best man. Ushers were the groom's brothers, Ryan and Kyle Kemp; Dave Selber; and the bride's brother, Christopher Campbell. A reception was held at the Silo Ridge Country Club. They reside in Pine Plains.

The bride received her master's degree from SUNY New Paltz. She is an eighth-grade science teacher in the Millbrook. Central School District. The groom is an ASE certified mechanic. He is a diesel technician at Dutchess Quarry.

Sharp Images KempCampbell RodriguezMcArthur The Immaculate Conception Church, Ameria, was the setting for the Oct. 23 wedding of Karin A. McArthur and Adam M. Rodriguez. The bride is the daughter of Donald and Judy McArthur, Wappingers Falls.

The groom is the son of Harry and Linda Rodriguez, Hopewell Junction. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Kirstin McArthur, Wappingers Falls. Bridesmaids were Katie Leach, Arlington, Amanda McArthur, Cortlandt Manor; Allyson Ramsey, Carrboro, N.C.; and Dawn Rodriguez, Hopewell Junction, William Evans, Alexandria, was best man. Ushers were Dustin Wasserman, Rochester; Eddie Lown, Hopewell Junction; John Meredith, Walton; and Bryan Ploutz, Bristol, R.I. A reception was held at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel.

The couple took a wedding trip to Florida. They reside in Alexandria. The bride is a 2001 graduate of Marymount University and a 2004 graduate of Albany Law School. She is an investigator with the U.S. Department of Justice.

The groom is a 1999 graduate of Dutchess Community College and New a 2000 graduate of Western England. College. He is a senior loan officer at NAPUS Federal Credit Union, Oct. 11, 1964, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Poughkeepsie.

Mr. Van Wagenen served in the U.S. Navy from 1961 to 1964. He retired in 2001 from Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 201 after 36 years of service. Mrs.

Van. Wagenen is a registered nurse and works as a school nurse for the Millbrook Central School District. She is a unit president for CSEA and a second vice president of Dutchess County Local 867. Mr. and Mrs.

Giammarino Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Giammarino, Wappingers Falls, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party at the Ship Lantern Inn, Milton, hosted by their daughters and son-in-law: Laura Giammarino, Wappingers Falls; Lynda and Michael O'Donoghue, Georgetown, Texas. They also have five grandchildren. Mr.

Giammarino and the former Dottie Morley were married Jan. 22, 1955, at St. Mary's Church, Poughkeepsie. Mr. Giammarino served in the U.S.

Army during the Korean War. He was employed by IBM for 35 years in Poughkeepsie and Fishkill Mr. and Mrs. Giancarlo Mr. and Mrs.

Reno N. Giancarlo, Hyde Park, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party at the Ship Lantern Inn, Milton. Helping the couple celebrate were their children and spouses: Michael and Tammy Giancarlo, Hyde Park, and Karen and Robert Cappuccetti, Wolcott, Conn. They also have four grandchildren. The couple also plan a trip to Italy in the Mr.

Giancarlo and the former Jeanette Masciola were married April 16, 1955, at St. Mary's Church, Wappingers Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Ticcony Mr. and 1 Mrs.

George Ticcony, Poughkeepsie, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel hosted by their children and spouses: Edward and Diane Ticcony, Mark and Michelle Ticcony, all of Poughkeepsie; Michael and Sondra Ticcony, Schultzville; Ann and William Totten, Red Hook; Matthew and Catherine Ticcony, Milton; Sara and Patrick Dakin, South Royalton, Vt. They also have 10 grandchildren. Mr. Ticcony and the former Marleen Hanlon were married April 16, 1955, at St. Mary's Church, Poughkeepsie.

Mr. Ticcony served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1942 to 1945 and received his master's degree in 1952 from Springfield College. Mr. and Mrs.

Kemp Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kemp, Pine Plains, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise party at the Stage Stop Restaurant, Stanfordville. Helping the couple celebrate were their children: Melinda Kemp, Buffalo; Keven Kemp and Michael Kemp, both of Pine Plains. They also have four grandchildren.

Another son, Herbert A. Kemp IV, is deceased. Mr. Kemp and the former Virginia Couse were married April 17, 1955, at the First United Presbyterian Church, Pine Plains. Mr.

Kemp, a graduate of Pine Plains High School, served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958. He was an electronic packaging design specialist at IBM until his retirement in 1992 after 31 years of service. He also worked for the Pine Plains Central School District for 11 years before retiring. Mrs.

Kemp also graduated Norton-Meyer Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Poughkeepsie, was the setting for the Oct. 9 wedding of Deanne Marie Meyer and Christopher Scott Norton. The Rev. Richard LaMorte officiated. The bride is the daughter of Donald and Sandra Meyer, Hyde Park.

The groom is the son of William and Sandra Norton, Pleasant Valley. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by April Sutter, Staatsburg; and the groom's. sister-in-law, Gina Norton, Woonsocket, R.I. Bridesmaids were Kristy Santoianni; and the bride's cousins: Melissa, Jodi and Ashley Malinovsky and Kristen Scivolette. The bride's cousin, Lisa Scivolette, was junior bridesmaid.

The bride's cousin, Alexandra Nakutavicius, was flower girl. Ring bearers were the "bride's cousins, Nicholas Nakutavicius and Peter Scivolette. Giammarino graduated in 1954 from the Vassar Brothers Hospital School of Nursing and is a member of the Alumnae Association. She worked at the hospital in various departments before retiring in 1995 as a night supervisor. Hack-Kesel Donna M. Kesel, Baldwinsville, and Brad D. Hack, Syracuse, were married Sept.

18 in ceremonies performed by the Rev. Kenneth Blyth at The Brewster Inn, Cazenovia. The bride is the daughter of Anita Kesel, Baldwinsville, and the late Donald Kesel. The groom is the son of Patricia and Ken Hack, Hopewell Junction. Given in marriage by her mother, the bride was attended by the groom's sister, Kathryn Hack.

Gregory Schmidt was best man. The couple took a wedding trip to Hawaii. They reside in Baldwinsville. The bride graduated from Liverpool High School, Onondaga Community College and Columbia College. The groom, a 1996 graduate of John Jay High School, graduated from the Jones School of Business at SUNY Geneseo.

She received her bachelor's degree in 1998 and her master's degree in 2000 both from Villanova University. She is a business consultant for Accenture. The groom is a 1992 graduate of Harrison High School and a 1996 graduate of Bloomsburg University. He is an accountant for Crown Cork and Seal Inc. Mr.

and Mrs. Van Wagenen and Mrs. Jon Van Wagenen, Pleasant Valley, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a party at the Osborne Inn, Fishkill, hosted by their children and spouses: Jonna and John Shutowick, Parkland, Eric Van. Wagenen, Poughkeepsie. They also have two grandsons.

Evelyn McDonald officiated. The bride is the daughter of Charles Rowe Sr. and Adrianna Rowe, Poughquag. The groom is the son of Richard Thomaselli Sr. and Linda Thomaselli, Las Vegas.

Bridesmaids were Shannon Burhance, Goldens Bridge; Linda Burhance, Newtown, Kimberly Pisano, New Windsor; and Darby Cohn, Stanfordville. The couple took a wedding trip to Dominican Republic. They reside in Poughquag. The bride graduated from Pawling High School and Mount Saint Mary College.

She is employed at Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County. The groom graduated from Roosevelt High School. He is employed by National Freight, Newburgh. Traceski-Lane Mark and Elizabeth Traceski, Somers, announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Rosemarie Sharon, to Jeremy Edwin Lane, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of John and Carol Lane, Fishkill.

The future bride graduated from the University of Connecticut at Storrs with a master's degree in elementary education. The future groom is a 2001 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He is a captain in the U.S. Army and is training for Special Operations Forces at Fort Bragg, N.C.

George Lakatos, Pleasant Valley, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a party at the home of their daughter, Judy Arndt, Pleasant Valley. AbrahamsonKolker Drs. Barry and Marsha Abrahamson, Palm Beach Gardens, and formerly of Wappingers Falls, announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Julie Lauren Abrahamson, to Dr. Mitchell Todd Kolker, son of Dr.

and Mrs. Harvey Kolker, Port Jefferson. Dr. Abrahamson graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School, Vassar College and New York University College of Dentistry.

She completed a general practice residency at Franklin D. Roosevelt Veterans Affairs Hospital, Montrose. Dr. is in private practice in Fishkill. Dr.

Kolker graduated from RainbothRodriguez Cara Rodriguez Rainboth, both of. Rhinebeck, were married Aug. 21 at Regina Coeli Church, Hyde Park. The bride is the daughter of Mary and Raymond Rodriguez, Rhinebeck. The groom is the son of Jackie and Fred Haalck, Ulster Park.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Jean Leirey, Lake Katrine. Bridesmaids were Marnie Eisenstadt, Syracuse; Michelle Kaiser, Red Hook; Michelle Raetz, Clifton Park. She is a speech cli language pathologist in Saratoga County. The groom graduated from Kingston High School and SUNY Delhi. He is employed by Technical Building Services, Ballston Spa. Katz-Handel Announcement is made of the forthcoming marriage of Joy Beth Katz and Rob Handel, both of Brooklyn. She is the daughter of Daniel Katz, Cincinnati, Ohio, and the late Elaine Katz.

He is the son of Bernard and Shirley Handel, Poughkeepsie. The future bride graduated from Ohio State University, received her M.F.A. degree from Washington University in St. Louis, and was a creative writing fellow at Stanford University, She teaches poetry workshops at The New School, New York City. The future groom graduated from Williams College and received his M.F.A.

degree from Brown University. He is a playwright and founder of the playwrights' collective, 13P. A May wedding is planned. Mr. Lakatos and the former Maria Szucs were married Feb.

20, 1965, at the Hungarian Reformed Church, Poughkeepsie. They also have three grandchildren. Mr. Lakatos is retired from A.W, Mack Manufacturing Inc. He is a member of the Germania Society.

The couple both enjoy gardening. Union College and SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine. He completed a residency in otolaryngology at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Kolker is employed with ENT Allergy Associates, Fishkill.

An October wedding is planned. Mr. Giancarlo served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is retired from IBM.

Mrs. Giancarlo is retired from Western Publishing, worked in retail sales for Lad Lass and was a secretary for the Gazette Advertiser News. He retired in 1985 as an administrator in the Poughkeepsie City School District. Mrs. Ticcony graduated from Poughkeepsie High School in 1948 and from the University of Vermont in 1952.

She worked as a social worker in Vermont from 1952 to 1956. Mrs. Ticcony has been a real estate broker in Dutchess County for 29 years and is associated with. Houlihan-Lawrence Real Estate. Olan Mills from Pine Plains High School and attended Columbia-Greene Community College.

She retired from the office of Dr. Vincent Russo after 22 years of service and also worked the Pine Plains school district for 16 years. Mr. Kemp is chairman of the board of assessors for the Town of Pine Plains. Mrs.

Kemp is a former town board member. They are members of the Pine Plains Presbyterian Church, where they both serve as ruling elders. Mr. Kemp has served as secretary at the church for 40 years and Mrs. Kemp is a Sunday school teacher.

She is pursuing her bachelor's degree in early childhood education at SUNY New Paltz. The groom is a 1995 graduate of Roosevelt High School and a 1999 graduate of Western New England College with a B.S. degree in finance and economics. He is employed at Merrill Lynch in White Plains..
