Uwrt nee F. "Rip" Graham. 69. of 5200 S. Nova a former paid City of Poughkeepsie firefighter, died Saturday at Humana Hospital.

Daytona Beach, Fla. Mr. Graham began working a a firefighter for Poughkeepsie irt 194S. He was employed for 32 years before he retired In IJT7. He was born in Poughkeepsie Oct.

S. ISIS, the son of Lawrence and Martha Burr Graham. Mr. Graham was married to the former Margaret Davison, who survives. He moved from Poughkeepsie to El Cetitro, California, after his retirement and to Florida in 1981.

Mr. Graham was a member of VFW Post 13212 in Port Orange, the Ancient Scottish Rite of Albany. Cyrus Temple of Albany, the Masonic Lodge '266 of Poughkeepsie. and the Free a'nd Accepted Masons of Albany. He served in the Army's 66 Signal Battalion during World War II and was awarded the Medal for Ousland ing Heroism.

Ulster man accused of drug possession ROSENDALE A Saugertles man was arrested on charges of drug pos session Saturday after police found 20 pounds of marijuana, valued' at S15.000.1n his home, the Ulster County Sheriff's Department said. Edward Vaughn. 37. of 6S59 Hun; nelv ille Road, was charged with first degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, police said. Police said after investigating the sale of marijuana in Rosendale, search warrants were issued for residents there and in Saugerties.

Mr. Patterson was a city resident for 28 years. He previously lived in Jamaica. West Indies. He was a member of the Sports men's Cricket Club and Beulah Baptist Church.

He was married in .1973 in Pough keepsie to Clarissa Belter, who survives. of New York, died Friday at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut afier a brief illness. He was 73. Fisher became president of the New York based McGraw Hill in 1966 and served as chief executive officer from 1968 to 1975. He became chairman of the board in 1974. and retired in 1976.

Fisher joined McGraw Hill in 1940 as promotion manager, of Business City. Week, after posts with Curtis Publishing Co. and McCann Enckson. After serving in the Navy during World War II. Fisher became publisher of Power magazine in 1949.

A native of Memphis, Fisher attended Columbia University and graduated from the Slates Naval Academy in 1943.
