16 Poughkeepsie Journal Monday, February 13, 1VB Obituaries Mr. Kohlmaier HOPEWELL JUNCTION Bartholomaeus. Kohlmaier, 84, of Route 376, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Germany on Nov.

17, 1893, the son of Jakob and Margaret (Eid) Kohlmaier. A farmer in Germany, he came to this country in 1958. He served In World War I In the Gerhian Army. He was a member of St. Denis St.

Columba's Church, Hopewell Junction. In addition to his wife, the former Margaret Schltter; he is survived by three sons, Werner, of Hopewell Ewald, of Poughkeepsie, and Karl, of Mor rlstown, St. Lawrence County; a daughter, Miss Eva kohlmaier, of Germany; two sisters, Miss Catherine Kohlmaier and Mrs. Mrs. Reifler Mrs.

Freida Reifler, 89, of 11 Worrall city, died at her home on Sunday. A resident of Poughkeepsie for 64 years, she was born in Austria on Jan. 20, 1889. She was the daughter of Daruch and Fannie (Kurtz) Tartar. Her father'was the originator of the Electro Supply Co.

in Poughkeepsie. She was a member of the Vassar Temple and the sisterhood of the temple. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Hadassah. She was" married in New York City on Jan. 4, 1910, to Samuel died In 1937.

Head Clyde E. "Bob" Head, 57, of 720 Cogswell Drive, Silver Lake, and a former resident of Hopewell Junction, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Kenosha Memorial Hospital, Kenosha, Wis. He was born on July 27, 1919, in Norwood, son of Marian Uhlman, of Wappingers Falls, and the late George Uhlman. A resident of Wisconsin for the last four years, he previously lived in Hopewell Junction for 12 years, employed as a truck driver for Commercial Freight Lines.

An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Hopewell Hose of Hopewell, the Dutchess County Volunteer Police of Hopewell, and a life member of D.A.V. Chapter 160, Poughkeepsie. In addition to his mother and his wife, the former Sharon Schroeder, he is survived by two sons, William and Robert, both of Massachusetts; two daughters, Theresa, of Massachusetts, and Miss Robin Lee, of Silver Lake, a brother, Eugene, of Wappingers Falls; a sister, Mrs. Alberta DeFillipo, of Florida, and six grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of the Piasecki Funeral Home, 52nd Kenosha.
