Journal Monday, February 13, Obituaries S- Mr. Kohlmaier Mrs. Reifler HOPEWELL JUNCTION Bartholomaeus Kohlmaier, 84, of Route 376, died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Germany on Nov.

17, 1893, the son of Jakob and Margaret (Eid) Kohlmaier. A farmer in Germany, he came to this country in 1958. He served in World War I in the German Army. He was a member of St. Denis-St.

Columba's Church, Hopewell Junction. In addition to his wife, the former Margaret Schitter, he is survived by three sons, Werner, of Hopewell Junction, Ewald, of Poughkeepsie, and Karl, of Morristown, St. Lawrence County; a daughter, Miss Eva Kohlmaier, of Germany; two sisters, Miss Catherine Kohlmaier and Mrs. Eva. Trapp, both of and 11 grandchildren.

Calling hours will 'be Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Route 82,, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Denis Church.

A resident of Poughkeepsie for 64 years, she was born in Austria on Jan. 20, 1889. She was the daughter of Baruch and Fannie (Kurtz) Tartar. Her father was the originator of the Electro Supply Co. in Poughkeepsie.

She was a member of the Vassar Temple and the sisterhood of the temple. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Hadassah. She was married in New York City on Jan. 4, 1910, to Samuel Reifler.He died in 1937. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs.

Frances Finnerman, of Poughkeepsie; three' sons, Norman Reifler, Aaron Reifler and Bernard Reifler, all: of Poughkeepsie; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, Funeral services were held today at 1 p.m. at the Vassar Temple, 140 Hooker with Rabbi Stephen Arnold officiating. 7, at Kenosha Memorial Hospital, Kenosha, Wis. He was born on July 27, 1919, in Norwood, son of Marian Uhlman, of Wappingers Falls, and the late George Uhlman.
