Jamestown 4.7656 HIGHLAND Rose M. Fuhrmann 80, a lifelong resident of Highland and Marlboro, NY passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on August 15, 2013 with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Fuhrmann worked for Hannaford's in Highland for many years up until her retirement. She was born in Marlboro, NY on May 11, 1933.

She was the daughter of Frank and Mary Margaret Laurio. On February 17, 1951 she married George E. Fuhrmann, Sr. Mr. Fuhrmann predeceased her on November 12, 1982.

Survivors include her son; George E. Fuhrmann, Jr. and his wife Marge of Highland, her two granddaughters; Denise Decker and her husband Doug of Highland, Lisa DiMattina and her husband Joe of Palm Coast Florida, four great granddaughters; Desiree, Deanna, Destiney Decker and Ava DiMattina. Additional survivors include her two sisters; Carmella Fa-sano of Marlboro, NY, Barbara Fuhrmann of Florida and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rose was predeceased by her son; Jay John Fuhrmann and her sister; Mary Tricari-co.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Tuesday August 20th from 5-8pm with a service to follow at 8pm with Reverend Arlene Dawber officiating at the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 38 Main St. Highland, NY 12528. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

"Jean" Ennis, 97, an area resident for 24 years and formerly of Hull Avenue in the Bronx, died on Friday, August 16, 2013 at home with her family. Born in New York City on December 9, 1915, she was the daughter of the late John and Sophie (Stamphl) Erker.

Jean had been employed as a Book Binder at National Law and Press in New York City for over 35 years. She was a parishioner at St. Brendan Church in the Bronx and more recently at St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Edwin Ennis, on February 1, 1979.

She is survived by her children, Florence Docherty and her husband Thomas of Wappingers Falls, Carol Gruber and her husband Otto of Wappingers Falls, Sandra McPherson and her husband Lawrence of Jupiter, FL, Edwin Ennis and his wife Marie of Staten Island, Robert Ennis and his wife Judy of Port Jervis, Jean Marie Barry and her husband Edward of Barnegat, NJ, and Frederick Ennis and his wife Irene of the Bronx; 14 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on August 26 at at St. Brendan Church, 333 E. 206th Street, Bronx followed by inurnment at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.

Waldron, Jr. SPRING HILL, FL -Charles H. Waldron, 80, passed away on August 10, 2013 in Spring Hill, FL.

Born in Poughkeepsie on September 2, 1932, he was the son of the late Charles Sr. and Florence Waldron. a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School and a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Charlie was employed by Freihofer's Baking Company for 31 years. After retirement he moved to Spring Hill, FL where he resided for the past 19 years.

Charlie enjoyed all sports, especially baseball and the NY Yankees, as well as spending time and making memories with family and friends. In addition to his loving wife of 57 years, Roberta (Reavy) Waldron, Charlie is survived by his children, Nancy Waldron and her husband James McLeskey of Gainesville, FL, Michael Waldron and his wife Lynn of Fishkill, NY, and Keith Waldron and his wife Krista of Staatsburg, NY. Also 9 grandchildren and 2 great grand children will fondly remember times spent with including Gabri-ela, Roberto, Amanda, Danielle, Stephanie, Kory, Kasey, Matthew, Zeke, Dylan and Ethan. Osika who predeceased her in 1984. She was educated in Poughkeepsie schools and was retired from the IBM Corporation. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Pagnotta and husband Dominick of Southern Pines, NC, her sister, Evelyn Tario of Poughkeepsie, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Waldron and her brother, Lawrence Graham. There will be no public visitation.

McGlinchey POUGHKEEPSIE Mildred (Midge) E. McGlinchey, age 70, of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on August 16, 2013.

Ms. McGlinchey retired from IBM in June of 2010. She had worked for IBM Poughkeepsie since Mat 1979. Born, December 28, 1942 in Mt. Vernon, NY, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Fern Kelly.

She graduated from Pelham Memorial High School in 1960. On February 24, 1990, she married Edward O. McGlinchey in Poughkeepsie, NY. Mr. McGlinchey died on November 2, 2000.

She is survived by a son, Christopher Liberto of Poughkeepsie, NY. She was close to her stepdaughter, Tricia Nar-baiz, and her husband Pete and her goddaughter Carolyn, husband John and family. Per her request, there will be no calling hours. A service will be held at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc.
